July 2,2015. Justin DiCienzo, age 15, recently competed in the GAO u19 Boys championship qualifier. This event was held at Elmira Golf Club in Elmira, ON.
Justin recorded a 76 and tied for 5th place out of 47 u19 boys. His score earned him a spot in the u19 Boys Championship to be held at Dalewood Golf Club in Cobourg, ON. The event will be played on July 21-24th.
June 30, 2015. Justin DiCienzo competed in the Golf Ontarios under 17 qualifier at Cardinal Golf Club in King , ON. He finished T13 out of 50 under 17 boys.
Justin shot 76 and qualified for the u17 GAO Boys Championship to be contested on Aug 18-20th. It will be played at the Deerhurst Highland Golf in Hunstville,ON
June 28, 2015. Justin DiCienzo, 15, will be teeing it up at the 2015 RBC Canadian Open Qualifier hosted at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton, ON. The PGA Canadian Open qualifier will be held June 29th.
Regional Qualifying Competitions: 18 holes stroke play with the low qualifier at each site receiving an exemption directly into the 2015 RBC Canadian Open field. The top 15% of finishers at each regional qualifying competition are eligible to compete at Final Qualifying.
Justin DiCienzo is the youngest competitor in the field of 150 golfers. It will be a great event for the 15 year old from Niagara Falls, ON and great exposure to the up and coming golf professionals.
June 26.2015. The Western New York PGA held the local qualifier of the “Drive, Chip & Putt” skills competition at the Buffalo Tournament Club.
Justin DiCienzo won 1st place with a field of 41 competitors. With the win Justin advances to the sub-regional skills competition to be contested on Aug 6.2015 at Harvest Hills GC in Orchard Park,NY.
The Drive, Chip & Putt is a 3 stage skills competition hosted by the PGA, USGA and the Masters. The championship finalist will compete in the final skills competition before the Masters in Augusta, GA in April 2016.
June 24, 2015. Justin DiCienzo, 15, ties his career low score of 67 (-4) at the West Wing course of Cardinal Golf Club in King, On during his GAO u17 practice round. He carded his -4 with 6 birdies, 11 pars and one double bogey.
